Last night, I was at the Taylor Swift concert in Evansville. It was a 3 and a half our drive for me, but it was WELL WORTH IT! Let me just say Taylor knows how to put on a show! Ok, if you're going to a Fearless show and want to be surprised, STOP READING HERE! Alright. so the night kicked off with Gloriana. They were awesome and played about 15 minutes. I'm not too familiar with their music, but they were great! Next up was Kellie Pickler. She started the night off with "Best Days of your Life." She played some new stuff, but had a solid performance of "Don't You Know You're Beautiful." She ended the night with "Red High Heels." Her set lasted about 30 minutes.Then came TAYLOR SWIFT. Her opening number was "You Belong with Me." She came up out of the stage wearing a marching band outfit. It was insane! Her show was very theatrical, and kept the audience engaged. I don't really remember everything play-by-play, so I'll just hit the highlights.- Taylor actually came OUT INTO THE AUDIENCE and played about 3 or 4...

Another new blog from Taylor about preparing for tour!

Hey! I'm laying on a comfortable, beautiful couch in the backstage club house/living room/"T party" room. It's a room I've always wanted to have on other tours. It looks nothing like backstage. It looks like your living room. The walls are covered in magenta/maroon/gold/purple draped fabric, and the floors are carpeted with oriental rugs on top. There are lanterns hanging from the ceiling and candles everywhere. In the middle of everything is a column with pictures of my band and me all over it. Pictures that remind me of home. Pictures with Kellie, Abigail, Selena, my dad, my brother, the trip my band and crew and I took to Hawaii this summer.. My dancers, my crew.. Everyone's in a picture. That's just my favorite part of the room. The boys like the ping pong table, foosball table, and the big screen TV entertainment center. So I'm in heaven right now, sitting on the couch, waiting for everyone to get here to rehearse. Hey, I wanted to thank you for getting me nominated for so many CMT awards this year!! You gave me the coolest night EVER last year when you won Video of the Year and Female Video for me... I'll never forget that. Hey... if you want to vote for me again this year.......... New blog from Taylor!

Hey!! I know that I use the word "excited" in my blogs more than any other word in the English language, but I have to say... I'm really excited right now. It's really hitting me that I get to go on my first headlining tour. With a big stage. And I'm not opening up for people anymore. And I get to pick what we eat in catering! (I recommended an all cupcake menu, but apparently that doesn't meet everyone's dietary needs for survival. The idea was vetoed. You can't win them all I guess). I get to pick out how the backstage area is decorated. And I love decorations. And backstage areas. There are so many different decisions to be made regarding video content and lighting and changes. So basically....I'm excited. There are a bunch of new people you're going to see with us this year on that stage. First of all, we have six new dancers who can point their toes and twirl and stuff with the best of them. On the band side, we've added another backup singer and her name is Liz. And she's...
